Another quartet from my tent neighborhood. The two on the left, a foxy mother and daughter duo with their equally foxy friends... haha. There was even one guy who I sadly didn't get a picture of who did the whole forty mile ride to Lompoc in a pair of red Victoria's Secret lace panties. Left nothing to the imagination and had us all scratching our heads and wondering how his ass could take the punishment of no padded riding shorts.

Carin Scheinin considers herself more of an artist than an athlete, but she decided to hit the road for herself after witnessing the closing ceremony for the AIDS/Lifecycle ride last year.
Scheinin, president of the San Diego Women's Chorus, joined a team of fellow San Diegans training for this year's 7-day, 545-mile Ride to end AIDS. Riders had to raise at least $3,000 for AIDS-related charities to participate (Carin raised nearly $5,500 herself), and members of Scheinin's group wore cycling jerseys covered with the names of friends, family members, supporters and others whose lives had been affected by AIDS or whose stories deserved remembrance.

Thirteen times, I have cycled 575 miles (from San Francisco to Los Angeles) in a bike ride event now titled AIDSLifecycle.
And thirteen times, I have completed the ride knowing I did the right thing.
In June 2011, for my 14th Year, I will participate in AIDSLifecycle .
I am committed to cycling (perhaps for you) from San Francisco to Los Angeles, 545 miles, in seven days. Also, I am committed to raising well beyond the $3,000 (per cyclist) fund raising minimum.
And through a relationship with you individually or with your company, I can continue to assist those whom are confronted with the challenges which AIDS inflicts upon them.
The Event has many intangible benefits you can be proud of -- like the advertising that helps increase awareness about AIDS; like the way it empowers HIV positive cyclist; like the way the 2, 500 cyclist get people talking about AIDS as they go out and seek sponsorships; like the children that line the streets to cheer on the cyclist and get a firsthand experience of heroism; or like the way the bike ride teaches people that we can work together to solve our problems. These are the things that make this event so remarkably magical. These are important reasons to give as well. And these are only some of things you can count on the AIDSlifecycle Event to deliver.

Peggy Bundy and Courtney Love were just two of the tramps helping at Rest Stop 2 on Day 4 of AIDS/LifeCycle 4.
12 times, I have cycled 7 days, 575 miles, from San Francisco to Los Angeles in a cycling charity event called AIDSLifecycle. In route to Los Angeles, I (and 2,000 of my best friends) cycle thru Montecito CA. ( Montecito is the home to Oprah Winfrey ).
Each Year, the locals of Montecito - Santa Barbara gather and create their own "Paradise Pit Stop" for the approx. 2,000 AIDSLifecycle Cyclist & 400 Volunteer Crew members. There you can find: chocolate bars, strawberries, homemade ice cream, corn dogs, Twinkies, coco cola, massages, and then some.. ... ALL YOU CAN EAT ...GRATIS!
Years ago (as I ate my strawberries and homemade ice cream), I asked several Montecito residents: "Where is Oprah?"

Probably safe to say these are the gayest socks ever.
The annual 545 mile AIDS/LifeCycle rides into LA on Gay Pride weekend. I wore my rainbow socks for it.
