Once again I am sat here wondering where that year went, it can't be Christmas again surely?

Another trawl through the adventure archives looking for any image that was a bit Christmassy and I found this one lurking.

I had the very great pleasure to have a prolonged adventure with very good company to Skye this year, stopping off in the Lakes and Yorkshire. The group came about through Flickr, which is the best thing about Flickr, not only is it a showcase for images but it is a proper community.

I have been fortunate to meet up with a number of other great photographers this year and hopefully will do so again next year.

I shoot the [Ontario] Mississippi River a lot because it runs through town. This is just off the Riverwalk Trail near the arena and looks downriver. The land to the left is an island with the main part of the river being on the other side.
