There's a car park either side, but the smaller of the two on the right has been used as extra outdoor space.
The original pub on the site was a large detached house bought by the brewery chain in 1920. It had a Saloon bar one side and a Public bar the other. Between the two was a door leading to the bar which was used as an off-licence.
The present building was built on the site in the 1980s and given a refresh about a decade ago.

I apologise for posting so many shot of Whitby recently. I have spent a couple of weekends near Whitby in the past few months and on both occasions the light was perfect. Whitby is so photogenic its impossible not to take a few photographs

We've been looking for a good groomer for Bogie since moving to Edmonton. This is the result of the first and last cut at a new place. You can see how uneven the ears are and the weird shapes on top of his head. And they shaved him right down.
He was so embarrassed by his little stick legs he refused to look at me while I shot.
Poor baby. At least it will grow in. And we'll continue to look.
ps...if you look closely you can see his badass collar :)
