San Jose, CA; one of the smaller designs (before the bigger buildings with the drive-thru through the middle of the building) with a very unusual "pinched" top. I only know of two like this -- both in San Jose.
Whataburger French Fry bag logo, 2014. Riffing on the A-frame shape of the hamburger franchise's building, and the famous orange-and-white stripes that make up the official log, this spiffy design caught my eye.

The A frame was built in 1954, it is all that remains of the Barony Colliery which closed in 1989. The building to the left in the trees is the only remaining part of the power station which stood on the adjoining site. Aerial view using a kite.

While originally thought to have been a Woody's Smorgasburger, it appears that this building's original tenant is currently unknown. It was most recently an auto dealership called Gulfview Motors.

The former Midland Bank branch in Southwark Park Road before Millwalls home game against Blackpool. Even though it's 'early doors' of the 2021/22 season, it's important to both teams as they are next to each other at the foot of the Championship league table!

'A' Frame Chalets, Swakopmund Rest Camp, Namibia
update: these chalets were used for the remake of The Prisoner starring Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen. Port Meirion has been replaced by Swakopmund. Having been to both, it's a very apt substitution.

Posted for 'Important Building.' This place has sure benefitted from covid and the restrictions. It is busy from 6:30 in morning till - I dont know when they close en evening. Always a line of between 3 & 8 cars on both sides of it.

William Krisel sent this series of photos to me after seeing the photos of tiki architecture that I posted recently. I see a strong hint of tiki here, and that "Outrigger Room" only serves to reinforce that impression. Also, I have seen this building credited to Armet & Davis. It is not by Armet & Davis, although that firm did design other restaurants from this chain.
