Heap Big Beef was a failed roast beef fast food franchise. This location, which lasted only a year or so as a Heap Big Beef, later became an Ohio License Bureau. By the late 1970's, this A-frame structure was demolished to make way for a Wendy's, which is a martial arts school now.
I love this hunting cabin/cottage..but I couldn't manage to highlight the cabin without getting a white sky.. :(
This IHOP has received minimal updating to the point where the lawn is fairly overgrown and the parking lot is gravelly and full of potholes. At least it still has its high ceilings. It was built in 1976.
I experienced a brief feeling of cognitive dissonance when I found out this IHOP was not 24-hours. I thought all IHOPs were 24-hours! I ended up at Taco Bell that night.
The building more or less backs up to Boca Ciega Bay on one side and is only a few hundred yards from the Gulf of Mexico on the other. I can only imagine what flood insurance is like.

I had been searching for this vintage Fisher-Price A-Frame House for a very long time. I had seen many on ebay, but refused to pay the incredibly high prices along with the $30 shipping fee. I finally found one on Craigslist, with all the accessories too, and scooped it up. This is my absolute favourite vintage Fisher-Price playset. I love everything about it!
I removed the panels from the boys' IKEA KURA reversible bed/bunkbed & painted the royal blue side w/ chalkboard paint. The white sides of the panels face in towards the bed/bedding & the chalkboard sides face out. This matches their robot-monsters gray & orange room much better.

This week, Addie and I's agility training graduated to outdoors! The facilities are quite nice and she did very well for never running outside! Lots of excitement but she handled it well. The sunset was gorgeous when we left and I thought I'd snap a few pictures. I also realized that all you Flickr folks have never seen any actual proof that Addie does agility, and while she's not actually running here, it's something.

Scope & Content Note: This image documents investigations and construction on various units of the Flathead Irrigation Project. The Project was initiated to determine rights and distribute water originating on the Flathead Indian Agency in Montana to both tribal and non-tribal land. The establishment of the Reservation in 1855 preceded Montana statehood by nearly 35 years and presented many challenges in establishing senority and providing for equitable distribution of water for the irrigation of farms and ranches.
