I'm afraid that everyone takes this exact same photo, and on the day we went up Victora Peak, it was super-foggy. Oh well, time for a bit of moody B&W. It was an excellent view, though, terribly vertiginous.

The home depot fix it crew repleat with safety goggles and painter's cap... be afraid, be VERY afraid!!! :-)
My niece had been knocked over by a wave at the beach and was terrified to go near the water when we visited Myrtle Beach for Dad's 60th birthday. We took turns sitting in the edges of the water where the waves were barely lapping over our toes, gradually moving closer to the bigger waves. This is a shot of her with my mother and aunt, who helped her jump the little waves that come in after the wave breaks. By the end of the day, she was even deeper than this, but this was one of the first moments when she was truly no longer afraid of the water's edge.
