(affectionately named by my partner). One of Melbourne's newest and most creative additions to the cityscape.

Affectionately nicknamed "Goose," the G-21 was Grumman’s first monoplane to fly, its first twin-engined aircraft, and its first aircraft to enter commercial airline service. This remarkably versatile amphibian has served for over fifty years in a variety of roles that have confirmed the strength and durability of its original design.

Affectionately referred to as the "The Big Guy" (Jack, Maine Coon mix - right) and "The Little Guy" (Maverick, Bengal - left). The only difference is that their roles have reversed here in the last few weeks. We just got back from the vet and Jack has been diagnosed with diabetes.

 

From our conversations with the vet and some research online, we are optimistic that his diabetes can be reversed after some time with insulin and a monitored diet. Apparently a high percentage of cats are able to stop insulin injections after their glucose level is regulated for some time...
