In Affectionate Remembrance of the famous architect JOHN DOBSON M.R.I.B.A. died Jan. 8th 1865 aged 77 years.
ISABELLA DOBSON wife of the above died Feb.13th 1846 aged 51 years.
ALEXANDER RALPH DOBSON son of the above died Oct. 4th 1854.
MARGARET JANE DOBSON daughter of the above died Feb. 27th 1905.

Aexander was killed in the Great Gateshead Fire but it has the wrong date on the inscription .

These photos were all taken at the Elephant Nature Park in Chaing Mai, Thailand. It is an amazing place dedicated to the rescue of needy and abused asian elephants in Thailand and Burma. The elephants here all have amazing stories of survival including drug abuse, beatings and much more. I spent a week here volunteering with the elephants, it was an undescribable experience to just be with these magnificant animals. If you are thinking of going to Thailand and trekking on elephants I would urge you to check out this website first and then decide where to visit!
