A few from a sunnier day...

It was daybreak when we spotted a lion family of four enjoying the beautiful morning light. The female got very close to her love showing signs of affection. It was a touching moment.

@Nandi Hills

Went to nandi hills for the second time :) . This time I got what I wanted to see from a long time, fog :). It was so much foggy this time and chilly. I really enjoyed there.

About this shot, there were lot of monkeys, I was trying to shoot this from a different angle altogether when varun called me to shoot from his point. I went to his side and from there I could see the eyes of both :) , then I changed the metering to center weighted average to spot meeting to just over expose the background :)

Are You Making These 2 Listening Mistakes And Causing Him To Lose Desire For You?Tweet This

Imagine this all-too-common scenario. You and your partner are in the car on your way to dinner. You are telling him about something that happened between you and a co-worker that day.

Your partner...

Marmots in Snowmass Creek Canyon. Caught in a Public display of affection .

three years ago today if you would have told me i would be where i am now, i would have laughed and brushed it off as absolute absurdity.

three years ago tonight i met someone who has unknowingly helped me to heal and grow.

i wish i'd captured the snow covered mountains that contributed to my morning bliss as i drove to work today; it could have served as some type of "recognition" so to speak :)

sitting side by side tonight was celebration enough...and for that i am grateful :)

friendship and deep affection....so many facets....thank you.

Photo of Christina in the arms of her mother. Taken in Nov 2010 with a Canon EOS 1V and EF 85 f1.8. Film used was Kodak 160 VC, photo was professionally scanned and converted to b/w in DPP.

I picked up the Color Affection pattern the other day and immediately had to cast on. I had these 3 skeins of madtosh merino light in "Copper Penny", "Olivia", and "Nutmeg" and they work wonderfully together! I'm midway through the first section (with just the MC) and it's flying by. Hoping to get to the second section by this evening.

Oh, and I'm adding the yo at the beginning of the round and dropping it the next round to keep the edge a little bit looser.

Taken in color. Converted using Auto FX and Lightroom

orehead smooches...beacuse it's easier than him bending all the way down * laughs*

The Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering"Neapolitan Kit" - Oatmeal, Bashful, and Smokey the Bear

I finished this in February, while reading The Hunger Games trilogy. What a fantastic knit, and so easy to do while reading. And I *LOVE* TPK. Perfect yarn for this knit. I loved this yarn and this pattern so much that I'm going to make it again in fall colors. My next TPK kit should be arriving this week.

I knit this on size 7s at a slightly looser gauge than pattern, and I ended up running out of the Oatmeal. A very kind raveler sent me enough to finish up. As you can see, this thing is ENORMOUS. I'm considering making the next one on size 6s or 5s.
