The Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering"Neapolitan Kit" - Oatmeal, Bashful, and Smokey the Bear
I finished this in February, while reading The Hunger Games trilogy. What a fantastic knit, and so easy to do while reading. And I *LOVE* TPK. Perfect yarn for this knit. I loved this yarn and this pattern so much that I'm going to make it again in fall colors. My next TPK kit should be arriving this week.
I knit this on size 7s at a slightly looser gauge than pattern, and I ended up running out of the Oatmeal. A very kind raveler sent me enough to finish up. As you can see, this thing is ENORMOUS. I'm considering making the next one on size 6s or 5s.

Mama's boy DASH shoved poor Kirby out of the way so he could get some lovin'. Kirby was none too pleased, but he's so sweet & submissive, he just let it happen.

Luna is particularly my office companion. She alternates between sitting or lying in front of my monitors or observing the world from a bed by the window. Here she is kneading the air and reaching out to touch me - I think that means "come closer".

2000 band stallion Cocoa shows gentle affection to his 2007 mare, Sapphire. Sapphire had a filly this year, but it was born weak and died in a day or so. Sapphire has lost her last 3 foals to unknown causes (not abandonment), and her 2013 foal was sold. Her 2015 filly was born healthy, but disappeared after a few weeks. Image taken 7/22/2016.
