was on the hunt for some hummingbirds this morning, did find some fancy warblers though.
And some brand new babies along the way.
V is for Valentine - many days early.
Does it matter - do we need a day?
The only thing gained by waiting for Valentine’s day is debt and a lowering of dignity.
A holiday only for raising prices and buying affection.
A holiday which has made us a slave.
They know we will buy - not matter what.
We, as a collective, must - out of obligation.
To neglect is to upset.
Who is at fault here?

I have an affection for a great city. I feel safe in the neighborhood of man, and enjoy the sweet security of the streets.

The Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering"Neapolitan Kit" - Oatmeal, Bashful, and Smokey the Bear
I finished this in February, while reading The Hunger Games trilogy. What a fantastic knit, and so easy to do while reading. And I *LOVE* TPK. Perfect yarn for this knit. I loved this yarn and this pattern so much that I'm going to make it again in fall colors. My next TPK kit should be arriving this week.
I knit this on size 7s at a slightly looser gauge than pattern, and I ended up running out of the Oatmeal. A very kind raveler sent me enough to finish up. As you can see, this thing is ENORMOUS. I'm considering making the next one on size 6s or 5s.
I knit a color affection in white and two shades of gray. I felt I needed to knit a more colorful one

Life can be like walking on hills...there are high hills and low hills...when walking on high hills we feel we are much greater than others...and when walking on low hills we humble ourselves to be on the same level as the rest of the common people...but affection and compassion comes when we are on the ground...being down to earth...then we are able to give kisses to others in our respect for one another...
