A dwarfed juniper and balanced rock with the milky way captured in Joshua Tree National Park.
Stack/blend noise reduction was used for the milky way in this image (10 shots, with 6 dark files)

A small blossom i found between big green blades of grass.

Freight Runner cockpit cutaway section

I‘ve always been fascinated by cockpits, (analog) controls, and display screens, as well as the "blue collar sci-fi" approach of the Alien franchise. This build is a cutaway section of a small freight space vessel’s cockpit, calling back to the AETHER™ company I briefly created for a post on the old account.
Inspiration for this model came from the recent Starfield project done by Adam Savage's Tested (on YouTube), but also Blade Runner, WW2 bomber planes and Lego‘s Monkie Kid.

Canon 40d 70-200mm f2.8 IS @ f8, 1/160 Triggered with ST-E2 1 - 580 EX II with lumiquest Softbox placed camera left to the side of the smoke 1 - 580 EX II bare strobe. Placed camera left 45 degrees behind smoke Black velvet backdrop 4 feet behind the smoke. Post Processing includes inversion, color layer, and crop.
The Vilumian had numerous types of interceptors within its fleet. None were as feared as the Aether Sprite.
Fun fact: this little bugger uses three different kinds of tooth pieces. Eight teeth in total (:
