So before I go anywhere, I awoke to the great news that "Her Ladyship Awaits" made it into explore, apparently last Friday but I didn't become aware of it until yesterday. Nice surprise indeed!
This photo I took a few days ago and as I said before I need to get more confident in pushing the Aperture with higher ISO values. However, the light behind was a full reflection of sunlight from a factory window which the very top of this bush was in front of. As humans breath air cameras breath light and I have always enjoyed playing with that very nectar of imagery!

It is said that none of our thoughts are our own entirely, guardians and the higher self are the kindling of ourselves if we ever care to listen. Somewhat perplexed by the expression, "like a bolt from the blue" I've wondered, well what's in the blue that fired the bolt?! If every idea can be an actuality where did the original idea come from? If the mind is not physical and all things atomically created from mostly nothingness.
For many years since my awakening, I have often felt the necessity to expand beyond my physical self, this depleted 2 strand, flesh and bone prison we call being human, in this 5 sense realm of a simulated Earth, which doesn't exist when not looking at it, look up the double slit experiment!
So hence the title, but for now, stuck here!

New post phasing in for the ever wonderful Muggleborn! This post features a brand new item being released at the Pretty Event (opening on april 7th) the "+MB+ Wicca Amulet" these arm braces are just beautifully meshed and fitted to each body (I am usign the Inithium Kupra) and have so much detailing on them! I don't know why but I put them on and thought "I wanna make a witchy Piggy" And so that's what I did! I used a gorgeous lil white piggy mod by Aether for this!

Argiope keyserlingi is a species of orb-web spider found on the east coast of Australia, from Victoria to northern Queensland. It is very similar in appearance to a closely related north Queensland species, Argiope aetherea. Wikipedia.
The female of this species being so colourful and beautiful, this is my favourite Australian spider :) /
Argiope keyserlingi est une espèce d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Araneidae. Cette espèce est endémique d'Australie. Elle se rencontre sur la côte orientale de la Nouvelle-Galles du Sud centrale jusqu'au sud du Queensland et sur l'île Lord Howe. On rencontre également cette espèce dans l’état du Kerala, en Inde.
Elle est souvent trouvée en larges populations dans les parcs et jardins, et plus particulièrement dans les feuilles de Lomandra longifolia.
Comme la femelle de cette espece est tres coloree, c'est mon araignee Australienne preferee :)

There is no doubt the Aurora Borealis deserves its place amongst the 7 natural wonders of the world.
Having never lived in northern latitudes seeing and photographing the aurora has been on my bucket list for some time. With the sun cycle at solar max Aaron, Alan, Rebecca, and I decided on a venture out to Iceland in hopes of witnessing the northern phenomenon. I figured a full 10 days in Iceland would give us a solid time window and opportunity to capture it. On our third day the sun delivered. A strong solar wind was predicted to buffet earth with a high probability of auroras.
As we waited out the daylight the anticipation began growing. While waiting for dinner people began running outside as the aurora commenced. I too joined the crowds outside and initially only saw a few whitish cloud-like strands. Just as I headed back in a sudden aurora streak ignited overhead. This time it was so bright I could easily see the green color. Excited and impatient, we all finished our dinner quickly and bolted out to our scouted shooting spots. After spending several hours going back and forth between the Jökulsárlón Iceberg lagoons and road turnouts, we decided to head back to our original spot along a stream as the final stop for the night. As we arrived and exited our cars the aurora suddenly exploded all over the sky. It was to the east, to the west, overhead, and simply dazzling all around. The aurora became so bright it was dancing and whipping around changing shapes. According to NOAA the aurora became a Kp5 sparking a G1 geomagnetic storm.
I made sure to focus on the task at hand and setup for this composition along the stream. I opted getting low to maximize the while still capturing foreground ice patterns along with a subtle reflection in the water. While shooting a bolt of aurora streaked through my frame creating a lightning bolt-like pattern. In the end the aurora streaked across the frame almost mirroring the shape of the mountain range. The experience was totally mesmerizing and it was an experience I shall always remember. This shot was focus stacked with 4 frames at 14mm for optimal sharpness from foreground to background.
