Met these four gentlemen from Germany. They made quite an impression on us. Since their student days in Frankfurt tthey have ravelled annually on quite adventerous trips around the world. Destinations included Congo, Amazonas, Myanmar and now Georgia and Armenia. Shared dinnertable with this fascinating group of elders with an attitude towards life and the world which only I wish I will have at their age.
Hope their travels went well!
This is adventerous bike ride at Nanital, Uttarakahnd.

I've been lucky enough to find a total of 4 litters of fox cubs this year!
This is one of the cubs from the most recent litter discovered only this week. Very bold and adventerous little vixen cub.

He reminds me of what his uncle looked like as a baby (from what I've saw in old pictures). His sneaky smirk I have witnessed in person, though. I'm proud to say I've survived the mayhem that comes from those smirks :)
He's quite a ham. I wish my family was closer, it's akward to want to reach out on your own because it almost always causes some kind of conflict or drama.
Someday, when I'm not consumed by work and limited by my hand (it's healing well, but it's still not like typing and clicking with an entirely healthy, 100% healed hand) I'll send all my flickr friends into cute overload with some more pics from this visit to my hometown.
This is my youngest son Dustin. This was his first day back home after being gone a week to Slippery Falls Boy Scout Camp last week. We had just finished getting his hair cut into a FLAT TOP and we stopped to see the Wichita River from a different view and he located this old bridge that went across the river. Oh course he had to go check it out and see what it was all about. I captured this photo and just love it. It shows Dustin's true self....Always wanting to know and yet just a little afraid or cautious. He has started becoming more adventerous and exploring new things he would have never dreamed of doing...catching frogs and snakes (this is my boyfriends doing by the way), hiking in the dark...(this is a being out in the woods for a week with the scouts). He is my little wonderer!
Hours upon hours I slaved to construct a suspended walkway from my basement rafters for my adventerous, young cat, Logan. And today I understand why it's usually preferable to leave cats on the floor. A small bit of flesh was removed from above my eyebrow. Luckily I had some novelty bandages at the ready.
I spent most of last week taking care of three dogs with a combined weight close to 200 lbs. and all under the age of 5.
This is my pleco, named Janitor after the character from Scrubs by Kile Salmon. The name just fit :) He sucks glass 24/7 and helps to keep my tank clean. He spends most of his time hiding under this log like a little wuss. Lately though, he has become more adventerous and will swim around as long as no activities are happening around the tank.
We plan to use this helicopter for day/ night operations throughout the Seychelles which will allow our clients to hop between the Inner Islands, or visit the Amirantes and beyond, for the more adventerous!
was at the beach a little after shooting the sunset, waiting for the blue moon to come, when i spotted some teenagers up on the cliffs, striking "peter pan" poses. i couldn't pass the opportunity up, they were just genuinely being kids; adventerous and oblivious to whatever happened on the journey. they saw something they thought would be fun, so they went and did it together. made me smile a little bit. i miss those days so much. especially the friends. even the ones who will say they never knew me, or put their heads down and walk away at the sight of me... i miss those friends the most. saw one of them today and actually stopped dead in my tracks and was about to tell them how proud i was of them and how awesome it is to see them grown up and living their dream, but thought better of it and just prayed for their continued happiness
This orchid is unique, it can dance! It even has a Mickey Mouse head in its design. The significance of Mickey is unknown, but it is probable that this orchid comes from a Parallel Universe where things match...almost. The unfortunate orchid probably dropped into our universe when it got stuck in a worm hole, got sucked down a black hole and ended up on Earth. (And Worm Hole in the scientific and space sense, not the hole that the adventerous earth worm crawls down).
Orquídea despierta To Dance

Travelling in China is always very adventerous, small busses, smoking people in the busses, too much luggage etc. The most special way to travel is to take a sleeper-bus, no seats only beds!!! Then you will drive with the highspeed of 55km/h on the highways. It's fun!!!
Again, if you follow our flickr stream it DOES seem as though we are in the practice of going on frequent vacations and eating a lot of ice cream.
Well, we are a family that likes our ice cream- and we LOVE gelato. Back home in Pittsburgh gelato is much harder to find, so we took advantage of the abundace of choices here and had a cup at least once a day. I tried chocolate hazelnut, apple, red grapefruit and blueberry, and Emily tried straticella, green tea, cinnamon, and hazelnut. I love that Emily has adventerous tastes- as a side note she was also a trouper about oysters on the half shell. Tim stuck to lemon (his always favorite) and Josie stuck to chocolate. She was covered with chocolate this whole trip it seemed, and as you can see from the above pictures taken on different days that she had her technique well honed by the end.
What will we do when we have to go back to work and school and eat regular old ice cream?
It's only doubts that we're counting
On fingers broken long ago
I read with every broken heart
We should become more adventurous
I'll sacrifice money and heaven all for love
Let me be loved, let me be loved
If my brain quits, well, I guess then that's just it
And if my hands stop working you can call me lazy
I've been trying to nod my head
But it's like I've got a broken neck
Wanting to say I will as my last testament
For me to be saved and you to be brave
I've felt the wind on my cheek
Coming down from the east
And thought about how we are all
As numerous as leaves on trees
And maybe ours is the cause of all mankind
Get loved, make more
Try to stay alive
-more adventurous, rilo kiley
I decided to try something different and try photography in the public, was a bit nervous but glad I did
This is my grandmother's cat Smitty. I love him so much! (mainly because he's fat) He's been getting really adventerous lately.
Was just trying out some textures....
I admire those photographers who can do textures so beautifully....I want to learn!!!
Would love some critique if anyone is offering!
after our stop at the cadillac ranch, we had an adventerous trip to albuquerque, new mexico. as we followed the old route 66, we did not drive to albuquerque directly but on a small street over las vegas (NM) and santa fe. on this street, we almost ran out of gas, when at the last moment suddenly a gasstation appeared out of nowhere! :D that was a happy moment.
in albuquerque we stayed at a very nice hostel. we were lucky, from our room there was a (not so legal) access to the rooftop of another building. there we spent our evening, dancing in the moonlight, watching lightning in the distance, drinking bad whiskey, making music...
the next day we made our way to a little campground, close to the meteor crater in arizona. that day, i took this polaroid i believe :)
The Alcan, or Alaskan Highway was opened in the mid 1940s, allowing overland access (for the adventerous traveler) all the way from the lower 48 to Alaska. I suspect this complex may date from that time and could have even housed laborers or management working the new road.
I popped him in the playpen outside. I didnt have his leash adn i wanted to make sure he was contained so i could relax a bit. It is hard work chasing after adventerous hams.
My tooth is finally feeling better, so I got to get out this afternoon after work. Was feeling a little adventerous.
So the boyfriend and I decided to have an adventerous day and go hiking. We packed up the gear, got Reef in the jeep and headed out. It was a hot day but the hike down to the bay was TOTALLY worth it. It was beautiful with a freash water stream flowing into the ocean and on top of everything it was just us there!!! =] Oh the life.
I think Husbear had me stand behind this rock to look more adventerous.
Cairo, Day Two: Pyramids, Giza and Saqqara, Progressive Dining, and a Sheesha at the Hilton. Huh?
varun and me were doing a speed parade enroute chickballapur on the way back to bangalore, I saw this lake with the setting sun in the backdrop.
The concept i wanted to photograph was a sillohette of an adventerous guy "who makes his own road" kinds.
The best i could do is to use the sharp features of varun (so the head held high)
This is the entrance to the Torrent de Pareis which leads down to Sa Calabra. Walkers leave ther vehicles on the mountain road and trek into the Gorge and hope to catch the only bus back which is 3 pm. A couple with 2 children only just made the bus we were on as it was pulling out. However I guess these adventerous trekkers would think nothing of thumbing a lift back to the mountain road. Thats the view from the glass floor on the CN tower skydeck. This is one of the major attractions here. People who have been here would agree that it gets quite adventerous (to some) or creepy (to some) to walk on this floor. The picture above exactly portrays why it's adventerous. The worst thing that could happen on a bad day is the glass breaking and you know where you gonna end up next. oooooooooo. Thats the Not-So-Sure person in me talking! On the whole, it is a remarkable piece of engineering and architecture.
