Jack K. Williams Administrative Building, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX.
The Jack K. Williams Administrative building was first completed in 1932 and has been home to many of Texas A&M’s administrative offices. The building was designed by Professor C.S.P. Vosper and built by Campus Architect F.E. Giesecke.
I went out to RDH again this morning with Mark to take some scene shots for the short film we're filming out there week after next. The script is complete and we're in the process of gathering photos and mapping out where certain scenes will be filmed at the vacant site.
This one's inside the Admin Building.
View of the Tulalip Admin Building with Mt Pilchuck behind. I completed this project in October of 2009. It was a 2 year project from start to finish.
* The Tulalip Tribe's New Administration Building is a project that took us over 2 years to build. It is 75,000 sq ft with a parking area for 375 vehicles. It was finished in October of 2009. By overlooking the Tulalip Bay it was designed to symbolize the Tribe’s commitment to a clean Bay and a healthy community- with low impact development strategies and places for people to gather. Tribal artists (including my family) worked with the project team to incorporate artwork on the site and within the public spaces of the building. Just one of the many impressive features this building has is the HVAC system. We drilled 100 wells 330ft deep to build a geothermal ground loop system. This geothermal heat exchanger efficiently transfers energy to and from the building to the earth year round.
The project recieved the 2010 AIA Washington Council Civic Design Honor Award.
On our return to this place we found a whole new wing. Unbelievably we'd missed it the first time but were determined to finish it. This wing had some of the grandest rooms and I believe it to be a small admin block.
We never did manage to get to the previosuly unseen pool before we were caught by a very tanned secuirty guard. Bugger.
