Bauhinia variegata is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae, native to South Asia and Southeast Asia, from southern China, Burma, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Common names include Orchid tree, Camel's Foot Tree and Mountain-ebony.

After being raised in 1971, the Ulster Defence Regiment was a locally recruited Regiment of the British Army. The largest of the Battalions, 5 UDR covered the Counties of Londonderry and Antrim. Requiring a permanent home, E Company 5 UDR purchased Laurel Hill House in Coleraine for this purpose. Having being used by the US Army briefly during WW2, the 1843 built house and estate had major works completed to bring it to the required specification for an operational unit. The UDR was reformed into the Home Service Battalions of the Royal Irish Regiment in 1992 and eventually disbanded in 2007. At the end of its operational life, Laurel Hill Camp was home to the north coast adventure training centre.

The house and land were sold in 2012. These photographs were taken in 2017.

At Wilson's Creek Battlefield

This is the Housing and Dining Administration Building at Revelle College, by Studio E Architects.

Putrajaya sits on a magnificent 4,931 hectares spread. Its Masterplan is designed along an axial tangent which runs from the northeast to southeast taking full advantage of the natural surroundings. Its undulating terrain treats visitors and residents to commanding vistas of the environment. About 40% of Putrajaya is natural. Lush greenery, botanical gardens are spread across the landscape enhanced by large bodies of water and wetlands.

This is my basic ethernet/serial connection kit from my toolbag. With these simple parts, I can replace all these cables:

1 - Ethernet cable (just use the ethernet cable)

2 - Ethernet crossover cable (ethernet cable - coupler - crossover adapter)

3 - serial cable (DB-9 adapter - ethernet cable - DB-9 adapter)

4 - null modem (DB-9 - ethernet - coupler - crossover - DB-9)

5 - Cisco console (DB-9 - ethernet - coupler - cisco console adapter)

The Cisco console adapter is not reversible, the green end connects to the router,

the red end connects to the coupler.

(Bismarck, North Dakota) - To say the least, the North Dakota Capitol building was a disappointment. Most states have replicas of the Capitol building in Washington D.C. with a dome, pillars and impeccable white facades. Nebraska had a unique twist on the theme that I would not call pretty, but interesting. North Dakota's on the other hand could be mistaken for any regular administration building.
