A few more tries at zooming for the assignment in Studio 26. Varying amounts and speeds of zooming but I think they were all done (except 'sprats') starting at a wide angle (18mm) and zooming in.
This one shows the more extreme effect. that can be achieved, using more zoom and moving the lens faster too.
Images in the 'abstraction - networks' series, and in the 'papercuts' series are all derived from photographs of the expandable paper bowls/vases designed by Torafu Architects of Japan - www.torafu.com

Impossible to get these two clearly, but frankly, I like this better.
