The photo is executed in technique «LightGraphic » or «The painting of light», that assumes illumination of model by small light sources in darkness on long endurance.

Thus, all lightcloth (composition) - is one Photo Exposition, is embodied on a matrix of the camera in one click of a shutter.

Si vous croyez que c’est abstrait, goûtez-le… C’est du concret ! ;)

Themapic : Photo pour le thème Abstraction !

Prise à la Défense le 14 Juillet

Abstraction is a performance installation that Inspired by Complicite's A Disappearing Number, this performance installation explores the key themes of mathematics, collision between East and West, and the interconnections of human relationships. Conceptualized as a visual score, and drawing references fro leading contemporary artists like Robert Wilson and Robert Lepage, the performance installation seeks to explore a new perspective accessible to the audience of 21st Century. Merging real-time technology with live performance, this re-invention blurs the lines between arts and science. Abstraction aims to leave behind something of permanent value, reverberating the life of memories.

Abstraction is created and designed by Theatre+Performance and Interactive Art Level 2 Students in collaboration with Acting Level 1 In Lasalle College of Arts.

Light Painting - da mesma ocasião de 'Light Waves' (post anterior).

This was taken at the same location in Tacoma that has nearly every inch of their yard covered in outdoor Christmas decorations. I was focusing on the limbs of a rose bush along the sidewalk and got some interesting light bokeh in the shot as well.

This abstraction fascinates me :-)

I'm considering starting a new Project 365, with a few themes: numbers, ongoing; abstractions (or crunchy paint); 1:1 macros; not sure just what else. I'm mulling the idea over.

An attempt at mimicking my teacher's digital abstractions. This abstraction was extracted from a combination of this shot and this shot.

Today’s Daily Shoot assignment is:

Get creative with abstraction today. Make a photograph of patterns and/or shapes that aren't recognizable objects.

Not recognizable to you? Maybe, like me, you don't dust very often...yes, a feather duster, up close and personal! :) Lorenzo Walker campus, Naples, FL

I hope I remember how to paint--some may say I never knew how in the first place--but I have been tied up with projects such as painting kitchen cabinets and posting 200 books on E-bay.

Lens: Zuiko 100 mm Manuel vintage.

Macro photo de végétaux.

Spoilt for choice on what to post today, as I had several that were suitable.

This kinda abstract image appealed to me for some reason, so it got the vote :)

Had been sat at the computer, with a circular polariser, just picking up odd items and placing them in front of the screen.

I'm sure most will be able to work out what this is, it's not difficult, but I'm not saying :)

There is a very good tutorial on this technique here :
