After finding this composition the night before we revisited the little town of Å (Norwegian from å meaning "stream") in Moskenes, at sunrise (about 10.30am LOL). We were blessed with some soft but very scarlet light at high tide.
Was nice to test Kase Filters circular filters here using the G-CPL and also their 6 and 10 stop ND filters.

Born to a human Jedi and a Tusken, A'Sharad Hett eventually followed in the footsteps of his father, became a Jedi, served in the Clone Wars, and survived the Purge. Many years later, he fell to the Sith, and became Darth Krayt, and became a new Emperor, before falling to Cade Skywalker.
Well, that is, if the Legends are true.
(For some reason, I decided to make a couple versions of this Star Wars character featured heavily in the now-Legends Dark Horse comics. Hope you like them!)

A Glossy Ibis taking flight. There was a group of them that suddenly took to the air. You can see the droplet of mud coming off it's muddy feet as it took flight.
Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fav my images.
A positive print from the first batch of new55 film. It doesn't retain the detail of the negative but it has a character all of it's own.

Lake Odessa's about a dozen miles from our place, but we rarely go there because it's off our usual routes to, well, anywhere. I've been in the village a few times--long ago I occasionally ate at one of the town's restaurants--but I don't really know the place. I've taken few photographs in the town, and most of those were taken last February 18. Nearly all of the rest are of the town's railroad depot museum or show geese on Jordan Lake.
Anyway the village seemed likely a good photo subject, so I headed over. I wandered around the town for a while and snapped pix of the central business district, some nice houses, a couple churches for my sister, and the downtown park. It was, indeed, a good subject.
==========
Lake O's Village Park is heavily wooded and quite attractive. Last year's daily photo gives some idea of the park's look and is very much a change of pace from my usual subjects. It certainly justified the trip.
This outtake is of a barn in someone's yard. It's very much downtown, and hard to imagine as part of a working farm, but perhaps someone needed a large shed. [Or a stable. See Ourcat's comment, below.] It lives on the edge of the park.

This photograph is an outtake from my 2021 photo-a-day project, 365^4.
Number of project photos taken: 67
Title of folder: Downtown Lake Odessa
Other photos taken on 2/18/2021: I took a couple pics of our kitten, Shadow, asleep in my lap.
** A shot of a Woodpigeon that is sitting in its usual spot on my garage . I note there is a small sign that we had some snow when this was taken
I have mixed feelings about Woodpigeon’s they are not exactly pretty bird and they are always about in the garden , though there is only ever one pair. They act as Avian vacuum cleaners constantly prowling about below the bird feeding station waiting for bits other smaller birds discard . One thing I have noticed is that whilst they are much larger than my usual bird visitors they are surprisingly unaggressive with their smaller cousins
THANKS FOR YOUR VISITING BUT CAN I ASK YOU NOT TO FAVE AN IMAGE WITHOUT ALSO MAKING A COMMENT. MANY THANKS KEITH. ANYONE MAKING MULTIPLE FAVES WITHOUT COMMENTS WILL SIMPLY BE BLOCKED
After sitting through a squall for about 20 minutes, the worst starts to dissipate and reveal A' Mhaighdean lurking in the background.
“... A la huella salimos,
caballo oscuro;
si quiere que lleguemos,
no tenga apuro.
A la huella mis penas,
más seguidoras;
aunque yo las arree,
son volvedoras.
En la huella del canto,
soy el rumbero.
No me aparto del rumbo
del cancionero.
Por la huella que agarre,
busco la aurora.
La guitarra es mi amante
perseguidora.
Cuando un día la huella
se hizo camino;
al cambiar de caballo,
seguí el destino ...”

Feliz Noche de reyes, amigos
Amicia and Hugo:
"Hugo! Where are you?"
"I'm here. I'm close."
"I can't see you! I'll do whatever it takes! I want... to see you."
"Are you sure?"
"You just keep on fighting! We tried that way, and it was a lie. It's not the right way; you know that."
"I don't know, Hugo!"
"It brought death, Amicia. And I brought death too! It's the mistake I made... and what I've become."
"I've seen you fight so many times. You still won't back down, will you, Amicia?"
"It's us or them! I have no choice!"
"You have a choice... but it scares you."
"We need to fix this Amicia!"
"We'll find a solution! I promise, Hugo!"
"You keep saying that. But there's only one solution now."
"You’re the only one who can stop me... from becoming a monster," Hugo said.
"You’re not a monster!"
"I will be…" replied the boy, "if I kill all I love."
Amicia learns what it is to sacrifice all she loves... and she kills her little brother who she loved so much, when he asks her to, because it was the only way to stop the Plague, or the Macula in the boy's blood would never cease killing... killing other people! And what was the life of one boy, to the lives of hundreds? What does the life of one child mean? And what does love mean? Did Amicia ever answer these questions?
And so Amicia slings the stone.
This is a collaboration between Joe (jnj_bricks) and I, built for the Labour of Love category of Brickscalibur. I haven't slept in a while so I should go to sleep now, but later you can see more of the terrain, more of the Rats' Nest, and maybe some behind the scenes. I'm really excited for this build! It looks awfully small, but I had to carry it down the stairs... and I know it weighed a lot! It's huge.
I have to mention that I was very inspired by Josh DeMoss's piece of music from the Symphony of Construction, I listened to it while I was building and it gave me the chills. And of course the music from A Plague Tale: Requiem. It was so beautiful, and touching, and deadly...
I have no words to describe A Plague Tale.
To God Be The Glory, and may you seek Him when you find yourself sad and troubled, like Amicia and Hugo, instead of getting lost...
I hope you like it!
A quick shot of the rain gathering on the window the other day. I liked the way it converted to monochrome, I feel like it gives it a bit of a pop.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
