Mi piacerebbe pensare che tutti i vecchi fans dei Beatles siano cresciuti, si siano sposati, abbiano avuto bambini e siano tutti più responsabili, ma abbiano ancora uno spazio nei loro cuori per noi.

Yesterday i was in Dievole to take photos for the "Eroici in moto, Il Classico", a nice motorbike trip in Chianti on white roads. The countryside was just amazing.
Yesterday morning at Brazos Bend State Park a path around 40-acre Lake was blocked for safety due to an aggressive mama alligator hissing to protect her nest. Here in Elm Lake we see a male alligator raising himself from the water and bellowing for a mate, a loud noise that has been compared to the rumbling sound of a far-away motorcycle. Needville, Texas.
Yesterday it rained
and the fields were gray
everyone took refuge,
they followed the invisible lines.
Under the rain
dark as the sky
I was thinking of other rainy days
in other places
in the smell of wet earth
that marks the misty autumn.
And while the rain
I was happy at that time
let it take me
to live other lives, without haste
And although today it no longer rains,
yesterday's footprints
on the floor
they stay alive ...

Maybe pressing L might be an idea here?
Sincere thanks to all who view, comment upon or make a favourite of any of my shots, for they are both a help and pleasure in equal measure. Phil
The weather recently has been less than acceptable all over the country and yesterday was no different. I wanted to shoot something and just get out for a while, so I found a field with sage grass being saturated with the misting rain. The light was awesome, like a huge soft box so I used a long lens to isolate the subject and focus on those tiny droplets of cold.
Thanks for stopping by.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.

Ieri è passato. Domani non è ancora arrivato. Abbiamo solo oggi. Diamoci da fare.

Long drive yesterday, 2:30 pm, off to Huntsville for dinner, then a quick run into Algonquin until almost midnight, as we came home with this shot. About 5 am I was back home, and toast! 24 hour days are fun, along with too much coffee!
Maria basically took this shot, I just coached with the tech stuff, she is really getting this photography deal!
Sharing what I know about photography with Maria is quite an honor.. she is really keen, and picks things up quickly. She is already teaching me!
Best regards!

We went to Gui´s school yesterday. He had a presentation about classic literature and did a great job on it. We are so proud of him.
When we went out to the Parking place the sun was setting and provided wonderful and painterly moments. In this picture unfortunately an old house was covering part of the scene, but in a way I liked the composition.
Wish you all a happy Wednesday. Sun is shining here. I am busy with Spring cleaning. :)
my son Blake has always loved the water. He could spend hours just throwing rocks into it.... he would say it at times s-p-l-a-s-h!!!
This is taken in a little village called Brigus, in Newfoundland.

Yesterday
by Charles A. McLennan (Grandy)
Old tractor dismembered and shrouded in dust
Her body disfigured by horrible rust;
Her day is long over, her plowing all done,
No more will she flash in the sun.
The spark plugs are gone; there's no fire inside.
Her pistons long idle, her spirit has died;
She rusts in dishonor, not even a grave
In reward for the service she gave.
In her prime she could plow fifteen acres a day.
The binder in fall was considered as play.
With full tanks she'd boldly strike out, at the dawn;
Be there until last light had gone.
One way or harrows, she didn't much care;
The belt pull of harvest when fall's in the air;
Her real work, revealing what lay below ground
Each new year when spring rolled around.
In a barn back of nowhere, abandoned, alone;
Been robbed of the seat that was used as a throne.
No one to sing to the song of the gears;
Everything's gone with the years . . .
Almost all kiwis reacted with sadness and lots of love and support for the victims of the extreme act of cowardice shooting people in their place of worship. But we won't be terrorised. It is still one of the safest places on earth and thank you all for so many words of support yesterday. Taken while sitting in a coffee shop by a warm salt water pool in our city, with a long large flat white.
