I had a great time exploring and shooting yesterday. I'd prepared better than usual, gotten out earlier, and then I stumbled upon this scene. An old, four room farmhouse (outhouse in back), surrounded by a mature crop of daikon radishes and fall foliage. I usually put my imagew through some processing in lightroom to make them look like "what I saw in the scene", but I just coujldn't modify this one. Such a pretty place and time! (see recent

There was only one table available at Le Hibou Café that evening in Paris on Valentine's Day. Probably one couple joined it later. And it seemed to these loving people that they were the first in the world to discover what they are now feeling for each other, that from now on all days will be as bright and warm as this one.

This is my first picture taken with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. It's my desktop screen, so I see it every day and I'm surprised by the quality of the capture, so I'm submitting it to Your Best Shot 2021 of Flikr. This is of the Lacombe Lake Park.

Just playing with my food again. Studio lighting done with two speedlights and set for a moody effect.
I was on a trip around the Isle of Mull, Scotland, and the nearby islands. Early in the morning I saw this man getting his boat ready to leave the Loch we had anchored in overnight. The light was so good and the boat and man were silhouetted in front of the light from the rising sun.

Abandoned car in a ghost town outside of The Badlands of South Dakota.
All that's left of the town are a couple of foundations and this car. I didn't geotag the photo because the site was already vandalized.
I've seen shots of this car, but never with sunflowers growing next to it. Got lucky!
On an early morning visit to the Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye I came across these boats on a flat calm Loch Fada. I particularly like the reflection of "Storr" in the upper left of the image

Another one I didn't think I'd managed to get. I'll leave this one in color. I really wasn't expecting to include people in these, I was just going after the geometry and the different colors caused by different light sources on white walls.
