Years ago, DaveM had a bad date where his canoe flipped in Lake Washington and sent a paycheck's worth of electronics into the duck-poop infested water. Among his possessions he lost that day was his Sony F717 camera. He gave the remains to me in return for giving him and his date a ride home, and ... well, I finally did something with it :)
Moderate subcutaneous emphysema in the neck. Post-traumatic - note fractured right upper two ribs. Significant collapse of the right lung. Also gas outlining the aortic arch indicating pneumomediastinum (remember that the neck is anatomically in the same compartment as the upper mediastinum).
Not, no not... the ear shattering possibility of - .... but yes, clearly this was what the devilish fiend had been plotting all along - an - yes an - additional - sp.. - speaker! Gnaaargh, etc. & so on..
Cobalt 60, C5, Strontium 90, Uranium 235 &/or 238, Plutonium, Red Mercury, Unobtainium and Polonium 210 were all not used in this exposure.

I totally fell from a curb yesterday evening. When I couldn't put on my pants or shoes this morning, much less straighten my leg, I went to the ER. It is not broken, only angry and swollen.
Enlarged pulmonary arteries, unlike hilar lymphadenopathy, are tapering, have a smooth, "single convexity" outline, and are of lower density. Calcification (linear and peripheral vs central and nodular) is also useful. Note also the striking lack of peripheral pulmonary vessels (pruning), and the absence of any evidence of interstitial lung disease or scarring. Compare with sarcoidosis cases.
