This is the x-ray of my foot from January. The stress fracture is visible as a cloudy band around the base of the 2nd metatarsal.
eric had lots of x-rays today. any one of the dark spots could indicate a potentially life threatening bowel perforation.
Patient with previously resected colon carcinoma. Barium SBFT shows an abnormal pool of contrast centrally with irregular, non-anatomic margins apparently in continuity with proximal jejunum (on its left), but not obstructing contrast passage beyond it (over the right iliac wing). The appearance persists and is thus not artefactual. On CT this is shown to be an intraperitoneal mass representing tumour recurrence which has invaded an adjacent jejunal loop resulting in, effectively, a contained perforation into the necrotic centre of the tumour mass. The CT also shows left ureteric obstruction by the mass.
I got three x-rays taken of each hand, to see if there were any fractures (maybe, on the left) or just sprains (yes, both hands)
X-Ray findings in Freiberg's Infraction (infarction). The breakdown at the 2nd metatarsal head, in Freiberg's, can lead to arthritis.
