Another wonderful Christmas story - this lovely & very clever lady saves wrapping paper all year. She turns all this paper into colourful & unique Christmas decorations, some of which you can see here. These are now hanging from the pergola & from trees and bushes all around the house - beautiful & sparkling stars, garlands, bells & balls.

Three weeks ago it was my birthday and some days ago I received a big package full of presents from one of my best friends. It was a emotional moment, opening every gift and realizing how much she knows me and knows exactly the things I really love.
In the photo, the box with the presents and, some wrapping paper - completely broken - on the floor.

I feel like this wrapping paper after all that's happened over the holidays.
Next year I will escape it all and take a solo vacation to a tropical land.
