Nothing on this is mine in this, but I'm gonna upgrade it soon with my own stuff soon.Credit to FalconPilot for the silencer and the Hexagonal texture,MacroHazard for the rest.
Photos taken of my workspace for the "Crafty Room swap" on Swap-Bot. It forced me to clean...always a good thing! I was having trouble storing these large pieces of paper so rolled them up and tucked them into the corner (they were living in a lamp shade in the "before" room).
My gift to myself this New Years was a new work space. I took out the old, unusable desk, put in a nice flat one, cleared everything out, and presto... finally a space to draw and write in... though still under the loft bed.
My workspace. Here, you can see double 30" monitors equipped with iSight and M-Audio studio monitor speakers.
I was in the process of moving so sorry for the mess.
This is my workspace in the family room I built. It not only added extra space for when the whole family is home, but I built the counter in one corner so I could have a work space here too. The stained glass window hangs between the dining room and the new room. You'll notice I don't just do glass. I like to paint too.
I really like my set-up here at home. Pretty bright, sure, but still nice. Can't wait till springtime, so I can open the windows and smell the somewhat fresh air.

The photo was purchased from an artist from Montana who has a booth at this year's Summerfest arts festival in Logan, UT.
#5 in Susan's and my prompt-based diptych project: I started with the one on the right (which features a mug by Susan, plus my messy desk); Susan responded with her laptop--work in progress--and a shot from a documentary on the woman she admires the most, Ruth Gruber. Which reminds me: I have a book by Ruth Gruber, *Exodus 1947*, that I would like to read. Adding it to my stack....
This is what part of my room currently looks like. I'll be officially a design student soon, making it perfectly suited for my needs.
I went with a vertical workspace because I can't get off track very easily because I don't need to look far left or far right.
Updated my workspace to include some additional storage and a stand for the MacBook Pro. The laptop screen is a lot more usable after raising it and I use the dual monitors a lot more now. I also swapped the iPhone 3G for a new iPhone 3GS and installed a 500GB drive into the MacBook Pro.
or perhaps not...
laughing in the face of mr vertigo, i took this shot standing on a stool.
hoping to get as far away as possible from yet another disaster in the kitchen department :)
