This is my workspace in the family room I built. It not only added extra space for when the whole family is home, but I built the counter in one corner so I could have a work space here too. The stained glass window hangs between the dining room and the new room. You'll notice I don't just do glass. I like to paint too.
The quote is from an Ask Metafilter thread about beginning vegetarianism:

I thought this bit was an incredibly versatile reminder that we create the parameters for all that we do in our lives, and those parameters can be as fluid as we need and want them to be. A good reminder to ease up on the self-criticism that bounces around in my head.
The photo was purchased from an artist from Montana who has a booth at this year's Summerfest arts festival in Logan, UT.

After checking out several flickr-profiles I found that it is very 'in' to post a pic of your own workspace. So this is it.
This is there I normally do all my creative stuff.
I really love my MacBook and my urban vinyl toys!
#5 in Susan's and my prompt-based diptych project: I started with the one on the right (which features a mug by Susan, plus my messy desk); Susan responded with her laptop--work in progress--and a shot from a documentary on the woman she admires the most, Ruth Gruber. Which reminds me: I have a book by Ruth Gruber, *Exodus 1947*, that I would like to read. Adding it to my stack....
This is what part of my room currently looks like. I'll be officially a design student soon, making it perfectly suited for my needs.
Updated my workspace to include some additional storage and a stand for the MacBook Pro. The laptop screen is a lot more usable after raising it and I use the dual monitors a lot more now. I also swapped the iPhone 3G for a new iPhone 3GS and installed a 500GB drive into the MacBook Pro.
or perhaps not...
laughing in the face of mr vertigo, i took this shot standing on a stool.
hoping to get as far away as possible from yet another disaster in the kitchen department :)

This is an Ikea letter tray, but I'm using it for multiple purposes.
This shelf / tray has most of my tinkering stuff in it.
Such as:
One of my two Victorinox SA Knives
Flathead, Phillips, Posi, and electrical screwdrivers
Blademaster - we use these at work for opening boxes. I nicked this one.
ESD wristband
Freebie torch
This is first thing in the morning and I have only been there for a week, so I don't have much stuff, yet.
Tempat kerjaku.

Busy yesterday sorting the 'office' part of my room out. Worked out quite well in the end. #Photoaday #Project365 #office #workspace
My desk at this moment in time.
The computer on the left was/is my old gaming rig. It was replaced about 1.5 years ago by the one on the right. Since then it's sat in a corner gathering dust. I'm currently in the process of parting it out for spares. It used to look quite nice back in the day:
