At the Akamba Carving Center in Mombasa, the carvers works in full view. The work grounds were enormous, a couple of acres at least, and the sounds of wood and stone being cut, chopped, sanded, and shaped were everywhere.

During the surface and texture rotation week, I was given a musician to design for so I decided to create an album cover, this way I could experiment with typography as well as illustrations.
the wallpaper is stripped and I've started patching the walls. pulling out the drawers reveals that this closet isn't original to the house. there's older wallpaper behind the dresser.
