`My first sculptures in England were made in limestone because I had no access to the stones I was used to working with in Zimbabwe. There are so many local stones here on which I want to work. There is no limit in stone sculpture. Even a stone as difficult as granite is interesting. But I'd also like to make more sculptures in wood and metal. Especially metal because it is so readily available as scrap.'

One of the many things that makes the company I work for a great place to work is the on-site sport and leisure facilities. We're also ideally located to take full advantage of the California climate. Mix the two together and one of the fun things we get to do is play volleyball on a well tended sand court. There was a game on while I walked between buildings and meetings today, so I stopped to take a few shots. Here is a tiny selection! :)
I typically upload in small sets - don't just look at the latest one in my photostream as you might be missing something you'll like more.... and your comments are ALWAYS welcome :)
