Close to work they are putting in an HOV access to a nearby freeway. Connecting the 101 & the 202.
They have been working on it for several months. I drive under this portion on my way home. Today sometime they installed this frame work getting ready to pour more concrete and eventually pavement for traffic. I was stopped under it for a few seconds. Just enough to snap one shot.
It's amazing to see the progress they make every day. Our tax dollars at work.

The architects conceived to turn the Centre Aldringen, normally a ”quick walk area” due to its unsettling and crumbling appearance, into a brand new appealing space through the use of pinkish lights, decorations and furniture.
The aim is to show how an urban renovation can play a role in changing people’s mood and attitude towards the places where they live and, and the same time, return the urban space its ancient role of collective memory.
