Today we did more weeding and I trimmed this rose bush and we wanted a arbor for this area but it was Wayyyy to $$$$$ so on the garden tour we saw and the getnleman explained how he created his own for more then 25 roses in his yard. So off to the home improvement store and here it is - there's more work to do on it but it looks so good right now :D
The team travelled on 12 seater van ( 3 vans to travel everywhere). One van for Aussie team, next van for local health care workers and the last van to carry our equipments, stocks and luggages. We left Colombo city on Sunday morning, travelled along Colombo highway towards Ratnapura (SE of Colombo).

My lampshade softbox at work with the use of a desklamp for the light source (not the one in the background of the shot).
It probably could have used another coat of paint. Or two.
Instructions:
Take an old lampshade and spray paint the outside with black paint. Protect the area around the lampshade with newspaper - use more than I did.
It might help to paint the inside of the lamp shade with white spray paint.
Used a plain white t-shirt, cut slightly larger than the lampshade and taped into place with duct tape. If you want to get fancy, you could use velcro on the lampshade and the t-shirt to adhere to each other.
You'll need to cut off the inner supports of the lampshade - a Dremel works great.
I used a desk lamp, which was not strong enough for the lamp shade, but a work light set up from Home Depot would be great. Clamp shade onto light source.
Busy sanding the roof of a Narrowboat and maybe about to become famous.
While I was there, for about an hour, a couple of the local residents came out and photographed the work being done opposite the Swans' nest. I don't know if this could be classed as disturbing a nest but it disturbed me. The noise alone was bad enough without all the rubbish being carried in my direction by the wind.
I suppose the work has to be done somewhere but I bet that is the only Swans nest between Middlewich and Rode Heath and he is moored opposite it.

I started my own business after I got sick of working for too little at FedEx. I started Feb 99 and had to close down in Nov 04 as I lost my eye and lived in daily pain (still do) from cancer. I loved being my own Boss. I did all type's of work and would hire people for jobs when I couldn't do it my self.
The Gnome watches over the presents at the annual White Elephant gift exchange at AOL in Product Design.
I started making my grocery list this morning, and then got busy with work. I can tell it is Friday afternoon now, because my list seems complete!
