Tabitha is made of 100% wool and has been carefully needle-felted by me. She is approximately 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) long by 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) wide by 1 1/2 inches high.

Roving purchased at Pennsic - the merchant dyed it with eucalyptus. The whole bag was significantly felted, so I took it as an opportunity to spin a bulky, slubby single. There are some really neat variations in the color that are difficult to tell from the picture.

This is a new base yarn for Wool Candy: fluffy soft sportweight Blue Faced Leicester, in "Vineyard".

 

A vibrant mix of wine reds, deep burgundy, plum and leafy greens. The greens blend with the reds to make branch-y browns.

This wool brooch was needle felted by hand.
