after messing around with half the romney wool on my spindle, i spun the second 2 oz. on my wheel and plied it with some mystery purple fiber. can't wait to see how it knits up!

Two skeins of beautiful green fiber from the sheep and wool festival in Rhinebeck.

The day 2 roving spun into a 2 ply.

2 oz. - 84 yards - 11 wpi.

I dyed it myself! Using kool-aid, beautiful natural wool, a steamer and a microwave

this was a 1.2 oz drum carded batt from Traveling Rhinos. i spun it on my Butterfly Girl Designs spindle. it is my first real skein of laceweight.

Corriedale wool blended with soysilk and nylon flash

Combed in front, carded in back.

Spun using alchemy fiber arts hand-dyed fiber

Centre-pull ball. The colours are much richer and warmer in real life.

Must have lost the tags somewhere. It looks like mostly wool with a little angora or mohair.
