One of my favorite patterns. Had some of the old, discontinued Regia wool in my stash. It's a shame that it's no longer available because it wears like iron and is such a pleasure to knit with. The colors were great, too, none of that self-patterning, stripey nonsense. I chose to rib the instep instead of continuing the pattern all the way down.
Booties knitted with our farm DK Shetland wool and with my first experimental onion skin dyed batch. The actual yellow is brighter than the photo, and the shetland natural colour is more brown.

I think it's color 18 - various hues of jeans blue. I saw on Ravelry that this yarn has a very similar self-striping effect as Kauni Effektgarn. From a swap with Maijamirjami ... thank you!!
Here is a closer picture, I just love the colors! We will definitely be making more of these, they were so simple and fun. Next batch I will use a bit more wool in each layer as some of these did not become as dense as I had hoped.
