A witch stirred her cauldron then grabbed onto a broom,

Casting spells and cackling as she flies across the moon.

~Made with Poser~

She doesn't have a name yet... which seems pretty common among the witch CaMs...

They might put a spell on me, but they don´t really fit into what witches should look like....

Brujas en tequisquiapan [witches in tequisquiapan]

This is part of a scrap set that I bought - it is a re-print from Shackman.

She kind of reminds me a little of Johnny Gruelle's witches.

Chris made me this terrific witch hat with the peeking crow/raven. The details are wonderful including leather on the little door. Love it!

One of my favorite cats, the Witch Hazel Dagger can be really tough to find sometimes. (If I manage to find one each year, I'm a happy guy.)

Search among the leaf stems of Witch Hazel (..duh..), where they can be found resting after an overnight feed.

The verse is from ‘The Lancashire Witches’ by Carol Ann Duffy.

There appears to be a theme to this week - lol

I was reading an article yesterday which said that Halloween is the second favourite celebration for people in the UK, just behind Christmas and in front of Easter, Bonfire Night and even some birthday parties?!?!? How very strange, we never used to 'celebrate' this event at all. Now the stores are full of Halloween paraphernalia. Looks l ike someone. somewhere has seen yet another way of making some money or am I just being cynical?

This is yet another thing that has crossed over the pond from our American cousins. What does the rest of Europe do regarding Halloween?
