My favorite time of year! Mosaic Witch's hat. 30" x 26".

There is some mythology associated with this area of Germany. The town is about 30 miles from the Brocken, the highest peak in Northern Germany, which in "Faust" Goethe describes as a center for witches. We were hoping to see one but this is as close as we got.

As symbols of protection I used: salt, dill, black pepper (peas and ground), ginger, dried nettle leaves, lemon peel, pins and needles, rowan berries, sage leaves, red thread, hand-made pentagram.

Every time I put an ingredient inside the bottle I said:
