March 13, 2019 – Witch Hazel ‘Pallida’

They’re a little late blooming this year, but with these warmer days the various Witch Hazels in the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens are really starting to strut their stuff. This is a lovely yellow named ‘Pallida’.

Witches broom is a deformity in a tree, where the natural structure of the plant is changed. A dense mass of shoots grows from a single point, with the resulting structure resembling a broom or a bird's nest.

In The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt haben Spieler jetzt einen Lift entdeckt - nach über 400 Stunden Spielzeit.Damit ist The Witcher 3 nicht nur eines der größten Rollenspiele sondern auch eines der Detailreichsten überhaupt.

Vor kurzem hat der Reddit-User demovicc nach sage und schreibe 450 Stunden Spielzeit etwas entdeckt - einen Lift nach Kaer Trolde.Dies löste in der Community von The Witcher einige ungläubige Reaktionen aus.

Allerdings teilten der ein oder andere Spieler,im zuge der Lift-Entdeckung,noch das ein oder andere Geheimnisse die es im Spiel gibt.So zum Beispiel die Schnellreise mit dem Boot und das während der Schiffahrt mit der Armbrust geschossen werden kann,ohne das Segeln zu unterbrechen.Darauf gehen wir gleich nochmal etwas näher ein.

Spieler die The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt in-und auswendig kennen,haben den Lift wahrscheinlich schon bemerkt.Mit seiner überaus langsamen Geschwindigkeit hat er bestimmt schon den ein oder anderen Witcher-Fan zum verzweifeln gebracht.Er braucht ganze 2 Minuten bis er oben ankommt.

Da der Lift nicht unbedingt notwendig ist,damit man nach Kaer Trolde gelangt (es gibt nämlich einige Treppen),wurde er anscheinend nie großartig beachtet.Er kann mittels eines Schalters gerufen werden,braucht aber ewig bis er da ist.

Strobist: 540EZ on floor 4ft from subject at 1/16 fully taped flame red gel. Another 540EZ behind also 1/16 with fully taped magenta gel. Some spray smoke in the atmosphere too! Tweaked in LR for colour temp, vignette etc..

Each pair of Masaya Kushino’s shoes is unique. His ‘Bird-witched’ collection was inspired by the bird paintings of the Japanese artist Ito Jakuchu (1716–1800). The dyed feathers were arranged to simulate Jakuchu’s subtle depiction of plumage. The sculptor Atsushi Nakamura crafted the claw heels.
