I can't focus on strictly uploading Hong Kong pics because new toys keep pulling my attention away! Maybe I'll alternate days between HK and the tons of shots I've piled up in the past week or two.

Eland are found in grassland, mountain, sub-desert, acacia savannah and miombo woodland areas. They distance themselves from deserts, forests and swamps. Herbivorous, they feed in areas where shrubs and bushes provide the leaves they prefer. They use their horns to bring twigs and branches into reach. Also known to consume tuberous roots. Aetherize filter from Flaming Pear was used to provide luminance and an adjustment in hue to this telephoto sunset shot.

03/12/2016; Wisp isn't much more than a string of lights that change colour every now and then, but it gives a nice touch to the Herengracht.

This is one of the photos from my recent hike to a mountain rich in folklore and stories and was also said to be very haunted! Although I didn't encounter any scary stuff while hiking it was really a magical place and I would come back again here in the future!

This was a bit hard to edit but it was fun to do! The fire was shot separately by burning an old rag with a black background.

In anticipation of Spring.

I've been driving by this gorgeous pink roadside grass for weeks now. Finally got my gear and snapped a couple.

Macro Mondays ~ Pale

While riding my bike on Saturday, I found this pristine white feather.

Only when looking through my macro lens focused on 1:1

could I then see this extra wisp of feather that is separate like a dewclaw on an animal.

Macro Mondays theme: Wear & Tear

I have a feeling denim will be quite a popular one for todays theme but out of the ideas I had this was my favourite shot. This hole was created by my phone when dropping it after my case broke which created cracks in the glass which then rubbed away at the denim on my favourite jeans. I've never before had a hole created by my phone.

Thanks as always for your favourites, comments and views. I appreciate them and HMM.

This was the beginning of the huge northern lights storm that occured a couple of nights ago. It was really something to see in person.

Some things last only a moment...

So I was scrolling through my archives yesterday and came across this. Figured I would load it since it is along the same theme as the one I loaded the other day. It was made in 2009
