In the mid of a wintry night, you could find use of your most vivid imagination. Then this humble balcony would turn into a cliff overlooking endless sea, over which stay curtains after curtains of mist and yet, somehow only a glimmer catches the eye. The origin of that glimmer is lit by some distant. lone sailor, trapped on the top of a desolate light house, forgotten by his contemporaries. Still, the vibrant leaves remind you of resilience and fighting it out till the morning, or - the summer.
The Pauli Church looks stunning with a long-exposure shot. The church is brightly lit, showing off its beautiful design and tall spire with a cross on top. The long exposure captures the soft movement of clouds in the sky, giving the scene a dreamy and peaceful feel.
This photo not only looks great but also creates a feeling of calm and respect. It reminds us of the amazing work people have done in creating such beautiful buildings and how nature can add to their beauty.
Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2008.
That night sang a mysterious song.
A song from faraway land, called me..called me....
I walked to that call..I went there.
A night of fog, fire and light......
I fell asleep.
This is a winter scene at night time. This is an acrylic painting that I've done. This is a copy of one of CURRIER & IVES paintings. The size of this painting is 24x30.

I´m bored by winter, white, snow and coldness. And so I created a pic that should enhance my current mood – with many colours , brightness and ART in the centre of all.
Combined with good music, nice friends and a glass of wine the long cold winternights may pass a bit faster…

Triangeln Station in Malmö is a standout with its modern, eye-catching design. Inside, the golden-hued geometric ceiling and sleek escalators create a unique and memorable experience for travelers.
The lead architect wanted to make a place where geometry and light dance together, creating a sense of wonder and calm.
The triangular patterns on the ceiling reflect the station's name and symbolize the interconnectedness of the city. Triangles, known for their strength, were used throughout the design for both beauty and function. This makes the station both stunning and safe for commuters, reflecting the flow of people and trains each day.
I used my 24-70mm lens, which gave a good view, but I couldn't capture the entire geometric lattice dome.
A wider-angle lens would have shown the full ceiling.
Still, I'm happy with how the photos turned out, showing the beautiful patterns and design. 😊

Winter nights open their arms up welcoming dreamers onto city streets strewn with glinting white embers: alabaster sparks left over from clenched-fist hopes that burst from eager palms onward and upwards into the sky.
Winter nights when the snow falls are the sum of the feelings that flow over your warm-slumbered skin while you are wrapped in blankets as memories and scenes from all the other lives you will live and have lived play on the back of your eyelids like a fever-dream cinematic sequence.
Winter nights in New York City wrap themselves around you like a cocoon surrounding you with the sweetest of silences as trees spin their branches like webs over streets held down by the barest hint of gravity.
And we walk through the city like somnambulists moving through the landscape of a dream landscape: gliding through the white remnants of dream-laden clouds slowly faces drawn to the street lights that hang over streets like stars leading our way back to the places we rest our heads.

This shot and the next two were taken last week under a half moon. I was playing around with different lighting effects and a new orb tool. Thanks to some new LEDs I managed to get a combination of colours in the same orb from single blue and red LEDs. I was quite happy with the result but I think they came out a little dark. They looked ok on the camera screen but I wish I'd upped the ISO a little. Lesson learned.
Cold and clear outside. Fascinating to see the light reflecting over the cabins. Exposure couldn't be longer, as the stars started to blur out, visible inn full size.
Snow! We finally got snow! After almost the whole winter passed, the snow finally arrived. It quickly covered the streets, but it never became the nuisance, winter service finally wasn't caught unprepared. Also, I wasn't caught unprepared, I had my camera with me. Late February 2018.
Taken with Nikon F90x camera and Nikkor AF-D 50mm F1.8 lens, on Agfa Vista+ 200 film. 1/30 shutter, ƒ/2.5, ISO 200 - I took notes. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 scanner.

"Mistress Moiraine called fire, sent it straight at the Trollocs. And Lan was a whirlwind with that sword of his. His sword? The man himself is a weapon. Burn me, but I still wouldn't believe it if I couldn't step outside and see..."
