My new favourite trees, as the sun was going down on a sunny day at the end of January :-D

The daffodils are blooming in York. Here seen with the station and the Station Hotel in the background.

As you can see, the snow is piling up and the wind is blowing it up against the windows. Glad I am inside!

Photographed using the Elikon 35c, and some Fujicolor film (the one sold as "industrial" on some sites, though it really isn't).

This morning while I was watching the birds eating the food I left on my windowsill and having trouble while trying to keep my cat out of the room (if a room’s door is closed, she must enter that room! Cats…) a glorious sun appeared making the sky shine with a bright blue. So I run to the little garden…

When it rains I stand under a tree…and shake it gently, so to be washed by all the raindrops on it.

Of course, I do the same when it snows:)

(Pine tree is the best for snow-shower, just in case you need the information:) )

I made cookies today…

Would you like to join me for cookies and hot chocolate?

:)

I had such an amazing morning today. I was able to edit so many older photos, I was in greatest company and I'm so looking forward to tomorrow morning too. <3 This photo is not special to all of you and I know that, but for me it shows a wonderful day with lovely phototour and best friend.

With a little (or a lot of) imagination, the trees look like an old-fashioned chorus line!

Winter Trees

The wet dawn inks are doing their blue dissolve.

On their blotter of fog the trees

Seem a botanical drawing.

Memories growing, ring on ring,

A series of weddings.

Knowing neither abortions nor bitchery,

Truer than women,

They seed so effortlessly!

Tasting the winds, that are footless,

Waist-deep in history.

Full of wings, otherworldliness.

In this, they are Ledas.

O mother of leaves and sweetness

Who are these pietas?

The shadows of ringdoves chanting, but easing nothing.
