23rd June 2011; 3642 on the Wintermagic special crosses under the Great Western Highway on a sunny but chilly Winter's day, on the way to Katoomba. 43+44 on the rear. I was the only photographer on the soon to be reopened Badgery's Crescent.
Had a great time participating in the 22nd Winter Fest down the road in Katoomba today. Although taking snaps here and there I felt more part of the community this year having lived up here for approaching two years. Loved the warm (yes it was a little chilly) happy faces and joyous dancing, all fitting in nicely with the theme of 'peace' this year.

A couple of hours wandering the very chilly main street through Katoomba where the annual Solstice/Pagan type festival takes place.
