The morning sun cast light across the face inside the restaurant. I caught the eyes peering out at me.
These car park windows always catch my attention with their mix of assorted geometric shapes in the metal grill.

I used to walk to Harkness State Park a couple times a week when we lived in Connecticut. It's the former summer home of the Harkness family, built around 1905 - if I remember the tour information correctly. There were many, always-changing photo opportunities around the mansion, its outbuildings, and gardens. I miss it.

Taken out the Jeep window
Not sure where I saw this old house, but I thought it was very interesting and seemed to need some repairs.
Window Wednesday
I took this from the Jeep window on one of our many travels around Upstate, NY. It looks like it could use some TLC.
Yesterday, my daughter's preschool class had the opportunity to visit a military base and see the helicopters. I spent less time listening to the details of the helicopters and more time photographing the flag hanging in the window.

This large enclosed area has so much going for it, particularly in this hot weather recently. Lots of colour, trees, benches, walls and windows! It was surprising that more people were not using it earlier when we passed but it was empty at this later time.
Another beautiful home in my hood, with great windows and awnings. I love window awnings.
God bless each of you who visits me here. Happy Window Wednesday.
A lovely window with loads of flowers on the sill. The garden is much the same, loads of flowers, it looks more like a jungle, but I bet the bees and bugs love it.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
This little cottage is on the main road in Belgrave South and I have long wanted to photograph it. So I stopped one day and tried the lensbaby. It has these lovely window boxes in the windows. Happy Window Wednesday
While strolling in our neighboring town after dinner tonight,
I couldn't resist this window shot!
Don't you just LOVE Mona Lisa in the corner of the frame!
This is the real deal! Alpacas which produce the wool which provides endless opportunities for beautiful handmade projects! And yes, the turkey is the pet mascot (see below) . . .

Spotted this house while out looking at Halloween lawn/yard decor. They didn’t have any but the windows caught my eye!
Couldn't resist placing this gorgeous watercolor of Richard's onto our window sill to capture two for one! We recently read that the male wren will construct a few nests for his mate's approval! We do think one has been accepted in our front window box which would be the second year in a row for such a nurturing environment!
