It's hard to imagine sometimes that these places were once living and vibrant. The view out this window may have been of a swingset,or perhaps some lawn chairs enjoying a view of the lush fields or setting sun.Now they show a much more depressing view-one of neglect,decay,and doom for what is too come....

This window in a wall is in Old Scotney Castle, a National Trust Property in Kent.
During lockdown I shall sometimes have recourse to photos in my archive, such as this, not previously posted.
How strange that I should choose this one which was taken on April 1st last year. That date, in 1969, marked the start of a 51-year-long relationship when my significant other half and I went to the cinema to see 'The Trap'.
How strange that I should now be sitting here writing this.........
Window Wednesdays
Two windows, at either end of the building on Mather Road, Newark, Nottinghamshire are like this with the attractive blue tiled border. This old warehouse, beside the river was originally a Maltings, used for the brewing business and is now offices.
It’s nice that the trees are reflected in the window as well!
This was the day of the preparation of Rumble on Main Street, the temporary fences were put up and a ring put up on Main Street for a few fights.
Just a block from my home and down a small alley there is this lovely site. Looks a bit rough, doesn't it. A town of around 10,000 people. One has to be careful.

I found this abandoned house on the back roads of Cleveland,Tn. The ruffled curtain in the window caught my eye.

inside a badly decaying old farmhouse.This was a great old farmhouse in its day,full of love,light,and hope. Now it's dark and hopeless, only the madness is left....

Went for a stroll through the neighborhood this morning.
And of course, as I'm photographing neighbors' windows, they are all leaving to go to work.
