Whenever I have the time, I like to look back at the photos that I took few years ago and wonder how I would take the shots differently if I were to re-visit those places now.
This shot is one of those that was taken in 2007, when I first started to take photography seriously. There is nothing great to shout about technically, but I think the scenery makes up for it. This is one place that I will definitely re-visit the next time I head back to Malaysia.

Whenever my partner and I go on vacation, we play this game of finding and counting Nirvana shirts vs. Ramones shirts and see who wins. So, I spotted this man's Nirvana shirt and I liked the way this couples' hands and the street art hands were different yet still a little similar.

Whenever I see an alleyway, 99% of the time it's full of overflowing bins, other waste and weeds. This one did not disappoint.

Whenever I shoot something for Macro Mondays I always try to come up with something that I think no one else will think of. I struggled this week to come up with a unique idea but it suddenly was there, right in front of me. These out of focus other worldly looking things are actually the filaments of a solar powered garden light. It was shot on a very old vintage lens dating back to the 50s and using a couple of extension tubes to get in close. Will I see another one in the Macro Mondays submissions?... I wonder.

Whenever it is possible to get an image of a horse I go for it. Just love horses. Not as clear as I would have liked the shot to be.
This is not far from Waterford where I get the Bears released into the wild.

Whenever I walk around John Muir's Fountain Lake I can't help but feel his spirit hanging over the place. He came here as a child from England, the nearest neighbor was five miles away. They built a shack and started a life. He reveled in the birds and animals that inhabited the farm. Read his childhood book and you will see what I mean!
I am a big fan of the various landscapes found in Wisconsin. From Lake Superior down through the northwoods, to the sand counties and the driftless area, along the Mississippi River, the Niagara Escarpment, to Lake Michigan----all different, and in my blood!

Whenever I have time and the weather permits I work in the garden at the moment. My little shadow Tofu is often nearby and wants to help. Today he was quite exhausted, though, I guess it had to do with the weather. We had unusually warm temperatures and there was a thunderstorm in the air.

Whenever I've been here before, it's always been at high tide. I actually never seen these rocks before. I must admit, I never even checked the weather app for the tides before I headed out, but it was a pleasant surprise to find the tide pretty much as low as it ever gets.
I had to bracket two shots for this image, 30sec for the city skyline and 3 minutes 30sec for the rock in the foreground. the only ambient light in the foreground was the city lights reflecting off the cloud cover.
Whenever I've been in London, I have only really been able to explore at night. This night, I was foiled by the incoming foul weather.
