Week 18's theme was "moody" and I knew of just the right feline to go to. My dearest, Cody! Now, now he isn't generally this moody, only when the dog is within close proximity.
My blog has new posts! Feel free to take a look and read about my journey through my first pregnancy! :)
I don't know if this really constitutes as "antique". I found these old home movies when I was cleaning out my mom's attic, getting ready to sell her house. I haven't watched them yet but I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what moments were captured here on film.
This week's theme was chosen by my talented friend Ruth, the theme being blue. It was hard, and not exactly my best work I feel, probably because I used the wrong lens for the job. But here we are.

52 Weeks Project.
Done.
Finaly I finished my 52 week project, with a 2 months delay. Well it takes wath it takes.
The goal was to learn about lighting and experience diferent setups.
I'm thinking about a new project...
Strobist: One canon 430EXII with softbox camera right set to 1/32.
One Yongnuo 560 bare camera left and behind set to 1/64.
See setup here.
I wanted to portray fragility and strength with this picture and roped in my daughter to take the picture. My scars are healing well and its through love and support of friends and family that I have got through it. Mark has been my constant support and been strong throughout this whole chapter of my life, but I think we are strong for each other as people often forget about those close who have to cope with everything.
I love this picture, Laura has taken it just as I wanted to portray.
My youngest daughter lost her two front teeth, the first just before Christmas and the second this week.
Teeth falling out makes them seem so grown up.
For this weeks shoot, the theme was floral and the girls had free will to interpret that how they wanted. Leave your callout!

A busy social week for both the boys with a trip to Stuart and Elaine's along with the Crowes and Snellings for dinner and play with Henry and Rosie, then a visit from Granny for two days while I went to Scotland to watch the rugby and to Northumberland with work.
Needless to say, Granny spoiled the boys rotten and helped out by babysitting so Karen and I got out for dinner on Tuesday - Freedom!!
Kerr is continuing to do what he does best - smiling, eating, sleeping, eating and more eating. He's now in to his 3-6 month clothes, so I've threatened Karen with giving away his 0-3 things. Don't think she's up for it though!
An impromptu trip to Gettysburg with the family lead to me shooting a bunch of stuff. This was taken from under the Longstreet observation tower looking up from the center of the area below the steps. The cables supporting the structure require the proper tension adjustment to keep it stable and standing.

The base exposure for this image can be found here. In addition to the HDR work, the image has been extensively manipulated in CS5 to address the keystoning and to remove a substantial amount of street architecture, namely the telephone wires and street lamp and a roof aerial, and the two cars in front of the garage.
A detailed review of my processing of this image can be found here.
