This is for the 52 weeks of my dog project. Originally I was going to choose Bruce, my pug, as my main subject. I decided that was too easy because he is really photogenic and easy to photograph. I decided to choose Katie, my oldest. She was my first love. I met her at an adoption day at petsmart and I couldn't leave without her. She was just a little thing, 3-4 months. Now she is 5 and just a beautiful dog. She is much harder to photograph because she has learnt all the tricks to avoiding the camera. You really have to be quick!! Anyway, I thought it would be a a better learning experience if I chose a harder subject.
Shot this today while Katie was occupied looking out the window. I wish the bed wasn't in the background, but overall I like this shot. She is georgous!
