Theme of The Week - DIY lens filter (nylons, used one of those little socks they have for free at the shoe stores)

I found this spot by San Rafael Bay back in week 13 of this project and decided to try again this weekend. I was down there before sunrise to see if I could improve on my last attempt. This time the sun rose in a different part of the horizon, giving a much cooler effect, but when it did appear it illuminated the fishing pier nicely. I also tried not to overdo it on the processing so this one feels more natural.

My little giggle monster. This is EMOTION! Oh, and yes, she dresses herself. he,he,he. I had to crop a bit from the bottom, because she chose to wear a skirt that is too short for her. Her panties are cute, but come on...this is the internet. I love how she doesn't care that she's flashing me, though. LOL.
For the M4H 52 week project
A good week! well better than last week anyway for two reasons
1. It was my birthday
2. Work is finnished for summer break!
This was taken on my birthday, i went to Bobby Jo's diner with the bestie and then sat on Southend seafront :).
This was inspired by photographs we use to look at in gcse and a-level photography classes, so i gave it ago, and then edited a bit on photoshop.
So yeah, i feel inspired :)

This is my new favorite shirt. And yes, I see that I messed up on the select color over on the left side. I'm just too lazy to fix it. :)
At the beginning of the year I started a five year "One line a Day" diary. I'll see which events it will document.
The last two weeks, Munich was in state of emergency. Yes, right. It was Oktoberfest time again. That means, loud music, cotton candy, rollercoasters, lots of beer, millions of drunk people and vomit everywhere. Did you know, that the breweries brew a special beer just for the Oktoberfest? And this beer has almost the double alcohol level than usual beer? So be extra careful with it ;-). Thanks to my great model Dani. Read the whole story:

I created a little dream-city and now i wish it was real so i could move there to walk on the little wooden bridges and watch all the flickering light between the roots.

Because this project is about experimenting I tried something I never did before and build an image completely containing of stock-images and many hours spend in my favorite wonderland Adobe Photoshop 💘

I did get a chance today to take a new photo for this challenge, albeit with my less than brilliant phone....
This is a shot from the ATP Cup in Perth today, Spain vs Japan. The man in red is none other than Rafael Nadal. (Spain won)
Arrived late at the wedding. The newly-weds were taking photos in the gardens of the club. As the saying goes,"The best camera is the camera you have on you". I had my cellphone with no burst mode, so, I took a video of the unfolding scene, trying to include the onlooker, to choose an image afterwards.
To help me in my post-processing, I chose the moment when a flash lit the shrubs to highlight the bride's white gown from back.
Processing was in Lightroom, consisting of cropping and global adjustments and some local:
1. To subdue the color of the shirt of the front photographer using the Brush tool on it and adjusting the exposure and HSL
2. Highlighting the couple with a radial gradient, increasing the exposure very slightly and adding a little more definition.
3. Using the radial gradient around the couple again to reduce the exposure very slightly on the rest of the image, effectively making a selective vignette.
4. Very slight additional vignette around the edges of the image.

More catch up. It's been a slow month... I've missed the Australian Open this year, then St Kilda Festival and a whole lot of events during the month or so. Anyway, here's one from the car... peace out.
