last week it was the birthday of my father in law. We practiced for quite some time to let Hannah raise her arms with happy birthday, but she didn't do it by herself.
This pic was taken the day after...
Bought this wooden top for my daughter and suddenly it has become her favorite toy (until she gets a different one though :-))

Last friday I had my admission on an art academies, sadly I was rejected. I'm a bit sad about it but when I was there I already knew that I wouldn't pass by seeing the work of students there. My photography style is way different compaired to the students there so I was just at the wrong place, I guess. I'm not going to give up, I will keep trying at other art academies.
(The photo above is my 'idea notebook' or whatever it is. And I got myself some new shoes after I heard that I got rejected.)
14/52 - Lost Train to Otaru
July 1 - July 7
Yup. That's me. Decided to go to Otaru, thought I wasn't there yet, that I was in Minami-Otaru, jumped onto the wrong train on the Otaru Platform, ended up going to Kutchan (didn't really notice because I was asleep) and during my exhaustion induced doze, I woke up, took this shot with my phone, and didn't actually realize that I took it until much, much later!
...on with the story; Got onto the Otaru train, fell asleep and ended up at the airport in Chitose. Then I decided to stay awake on the train till I arrived in Sapporo. Managed to do that, but forgot my phone on the train and had to retrace all my steps to get my phone back. Yup. An adventure.
Here's Yotei-San in all its summer glory. A great hike, beautiful view and an amazing volcano.
I was crazy sick last week, and couldn't do much of anything so this photo is late and not at all what I had envisioned for this project. But the adventure made it sweet.
Here's to a heavenly monument and a healthy life for all!

This week i really had to study a lot... actually , this is what i´m gonna do all this month...
remember: To Study is not good. It makes you sleepy :)
Very nice owl. I almost lost it schtomping around in the bush trying to get a clearer shot. I was sure I had spooked it, and I was just about to continue on, when I saw it again. It let me do even more schtomping around to get this shot. I left it to its nap.
