I've been busy meeting this week. Today was no exception. In fact, I was so busy I barely had time to eat this can of Wegmans chunky chicken noodle soup. I even had to skip the lunch time meeting I planned attending in lieu of another meeting that carried through noon. After finally finding some time to eat my yummy soup, a co-worker and friend from another department stopped by to tell me she was leaving the college this Friday because her husband took a job in Seattle. She wanted to introduce me to her replacement.
I usually make it a rule never to eat lunch in my office because I find the act depressing. I usually go to Panera or to my house to eat my Wegmans canned soup (remarkably tasty) or a salad. Home also affords me a little SportCenter time and chill time on my couch.

I took my son to the Philly Brickfest to enjoy all of the Lego awesomeness. This was one of the finds within a much larger display of Lego City stuff.
I feel quite bad lately. I got a cold and this grey weather outside isn't really helpful to step out of this depressing mood. I need sunshine!

Knox College students held a crafts and natural food festival on the Gizmo Patio and South Lawn of Old Main to celebrate Earth Week 2014.
For one week each October on Columbus Day celebration in San Francisco, the little sailors fill the bars while the Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornets soar the skies.

Week 16/52 of my 52 Week Project
My Boss has been gone on vacation for the past week and gets back tomorrow. Since he has been gone I have been doing his job plus my own. I am looking forward to his return!
Strobist info: Bare 430EX camera left pointed up towards wall behind camera. Triggered with cybersync.
The Everett Naval Station was my husbands first and only duty station while in the Navy. Now he is out of the Navy and a different carrier sits in port but it brings back so many good and bad memories of dropping him off and picking him up from work-ups and deployments. I'm so glad he joined and that we had this life experience. But I am even more glad that he is out now!
The branch hooks need to be re-hung with larger nails, but they're ok for now. I also need to move them up a little bit and space them slighty further apart.

I hope everyone is enjoying day two of the government shut-down!
Delaney and I enjoyed our day by having a nonsensical tea party in the woods!
Also I got three shots this morning without anyone to hold my hand, I'm a real adult!
The DDP is the host venue for this year’s Seoul Design Week.
The Seoul Design Week, the country’s largest design festival, ran from September 22nd to October 2nd at the fabulous Dongdaemun Design Plaza. The annual event was held under the theme Smart City, Smart Design, Smart Life, with programs including; The Seoul Smart Mobility International Conference and Exhibition, Universal Design Seoul Exhibition, Seoul Crafts Fair and Crafts Free Market and AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) SEOUL 2016. AGI, a collective of the world’s top graphic designers, also hosted the AGI Special Project, with more than 200 works of art created with the theme, I love Seoul, and displayed in the DDP’s Green Showroom during the design week.
Boring, boring week. I can't even remember what I did this week. Except that I started drawing again. The drawing looks horrible in this photo because of the flash.. I might scan some drawings and put them online.
Was going through a drawer looking for something else and came across this. I believe this may have been my first "smart phone" after my flip phone. When daughter was younger, she used to go around with our old phones pretending to talk on them.
Week 13: 26 Mar - 1 April
First pair of Converse All Star shoes I've owned. It's been really great having flat shoes that I can wear almost everywhere. Especially with ankle healing but still tender and my habit of wearing jeans most days of the week.
Cheeky feet-on-seat shot while on the train going home from one event or another. The laces are too long for my liking so I wrap them around my ankles before tying
Week 10/52
Theme: Stack It
2013 Ellenburg Project 52
I had a newborn scheduled for Thursday and I had lots of ideas about things I could stack with the baby. Baby on a stack of books, towels, suitcases, etc... Unfortunately, school was cancelled and therefore my shoot was also cancelled. So I guess I'll have to settle for a stack of suitcases without a baby. (Just a side note, I would never stack a baby this high, my plan was to just use the two big blue suitcases.) Thanks to my mom for giving my all her old suitcases, I love them. My husband on the other hand is less than thrilled with them, hehehe.
Didn't follow this week's theme unfortunately. But check out Mike Trout sliding into home plate at the Angels vs. Tigers game on Sunday. Angels won 4-3 :)
Week 4 of Weekly 2024 Alphabet Challenge.
This one was a tough one for me this week, I try to live as eco friendly life as possible, with very little single use plastic, but it didn't take me too long to find the "neccesary" gloves from my hair dying kit.
Shirt from Washington DC with a cute dart in it at the midline, so I can wear it postpartum to nurse because the buttons open beyond the boobs. Heh heh.
