Had plans for something else but as usual time got away from me so here is Tilt in a Tunnel (don't worry I wasn't driving).
Here in Week 6 of Be Still 52 I spent more time experimenting with side light...this time with bright afternoon light on the porch from the left and using a black foam core on the right. I am definitely out of my comfort zone using Kim's "darkmood" LR preset but I am happy with the results after a little tweaking and it has nurtured my creativity:) For props, I raided the garden shed but ended up with removing many of the props....simple was definitely best.
Took advantage of the fantastic weather to blend 3 images from sunset, dusk and twilight along the Thames last night. All taken with a tripod in exactly the same position.
2/52 So this is the second picture for the project and i'm not really sure yet rather i like it or not. I had something completely different in mind when i set up the camera, but it just didnt work out the way i saw it in my head. So.. here is plan B i would say.
p.s. there are soooo many beautiful images uploaded in the "Let's get creative 2014" group already, you should definitely go, take a look and get inspired! :)
Sorry guys, this one is out of topic. This is a picture of "le prisonnier" of V. Van Gogh, fondation Louis Vuitton, collection Morozov
Year X Week 34 18-25/8/19
Another from Phu Quoc. This time it's from the world's longest cable car. This was from above one of the islands that the cable car crosses. This lone fishing boat, with the fisherman on board (if you look closely enough), thought it would make for a great tilt-shift shot. More soon.

This week the girls had to do a motion shot and they were each assigned a neon color to wear. In this photo the japanese writing says "The Color Yellow".

Had a mid week outing yesterday. I went to visit my friend Alice to catch up for a natter, Had a really nice time although I did leave early du to having a long busy day at work. Mustn't grumble it pays the bills.
The weather had been rubbish all day so I opted for a more sensible outfit. Jeans always seem to be the fall back item when its cold windy and wet but did stay girlie with the blouse and floral top.
We will see how this out changes in the following pics

The Golden Week is a collection of four national holidays within seven days. In combination with well placed weekends, the Golden Week becomes one of Japan's three busiest holiday seasons, besides New Year.
The national holidays making up the Golden Week are:
April 29 Showa Day (Showa no hi):
April 29 is the birthday of former Emperor Showa, who died in the year 1989. Until 2006, Greenery Day (see May 4) used to be celebrated on this day.
May 3 Constitution Day (Kenpo kinenbi):
On this day in 1947, the new post war constitution was put into effect.
May 4 Greenery Day (Midori no hi):
Until 2006, Greenery Day used to be celebrated on April 29, the birthday of former Emperor Showa. The day is dedicated to the environment and nature, because the emperor loved plants and nature.
May 5 Children's Day (Kodomo no hi):
The Boy's Festival (Tango no Sekku) is celebrated on this day. Families pray for the health and future success of their sons by hanging up carp streamers and displaying samurai dolls, both symbolizing strength, power and success in life.

2 lights here. One gridded small SB camera right and a gridded sb-28 behind Nadia for a little rim. Triggered with cybersyncs.
UPDATE:
It's going to be a little princess for us. daddy's little girl.
I was originally going to buy some sweets and set up a shot but last night's clouds reminded me of some yummy cotton candy.
Thought it was pretty cool to see the leaves all frozen in our birdbath in the front of our house. Looked so pretty!
A cold snap has finally arrived. Being the start of February, that is not so bad. I'm not thrilled with it, but, it could have happened much sooner and more often.

This week the girls all wore the same garmet with the same rural set. Who rocked it the best?

Supposed to be advertising for this weeks theme, but I’m not great at that.

A venture out during normal daylight hours for this weeks shot, the rape seed fields are coming to an end, but there was still enough colour left for this pic, the MG B GT came along at just the right time, got lucky again :-)

This is a chair that belonged to my late Grandma Clifton. I discovered this week that the rocking motion helped to settle my stomach, so I've been spending a lot of time in it. Roxy has never shown any interest in it before, but now all of a sudden she's been spending a lot of time in it too, we we are sharing. Maybe it is because I have repositioned it by the back windows and she's just enjoying the view.
