A small part of the garden at Coleton Fishacre.

Either this is an infrared photo, or they put something weird in their coffee.

Stora Sundby castle started its life as fortress near lake Hjälmaren. After owners changed couple of times it went to Count Carl De Geer and his wife Ulrika. As many woman of that time, she was reading Sir Walter Scott’s novels. She was so fond of it that she even asked her husband to build a romantic medieval castle on the bank of Hjälmaren. Count Carl was a wealthy man and loved his wife very much, so the drawings were ordered from overseas from the same architect who build Sir Walter Scott’s house. It took long years to build this Neogothic style house. What's nice that the majority of old walls and interiors were preserved. Instead of building the new castle they rather coated the old one with a new armour.

The delicate beauty of these exotic plants is shown in these large ceramic pots placed under the house an area of coolness used on occasions to entertain his weavers and their families .

The moving water in the NGV's Waterwall is designed to highlight the buildings arch-shaped entry.

The glass is 20 metres wide and 6 metres high and features a continually running, recycled water curtain.

The National Gallery of Victoria, popularly known as the NGV, is an art museum in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 1861, it is Australia's oldest, largest and most visited art museum.

The National Gallery of Victoria houses an encyclopaedic art collection across two sites: NGV International, located on St Kilda Road in the Melbourne Arts Precinct of Southbank, and the Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, located nearby at Federation Square.

The St Kilda Road building, designed by Sir Roy Grounds, opened in 1968, and was redeveloped by Mario Bellini before reopening in 2003. It houses the gallery's international art collection.

In case you're wondering (which I know you are), the Kinglet is drinking from a water feature. I was amazed how it could even hang on to the tiny crevices in the clay.

"5th Chapter" in the Southern Highlands of NSW has to be one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever visited. I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at this open garden at the suggestion of the local tourist info centre. To get there you need to venture down a dirt road, and onto a somewhat scrubby access track! I nearly turned around, but I am so glad I didn't or I would have missed this beautiful gem! This garden is part of a family estate which also operates as a Vineyard. The garden is opened on a regular basis and any money raised is donated to charity.

Famous Scottish hotel gleneagles have a beautiful pond with a fantastic water fountain feature located at there private golf course. Lovely to walk around or if you love golf!

Not sure I appreciate seeing an elderly bloke spewing water but he's got a cheery face, hasn't he? 😁

I didn't buy him though! 😂

Fountain in Trafalgar Square, London.

In hard sunlight, the brightly coloured clothing of a mother and her child are reflected in the cascades of one of the water features on Millennium Square, Bristol Harbourside. The original shot has been duplicated and mirrored to create the final image but, other than that, it's exactly as shot - amazing how colour reflects in bright light.

Well you can actually, and most people who walk past it don't seem to be able to resist getting their fingers wet. Amazing wall of water outside Sheffield station. The water cascades over a large steel tubular sculpture, a really striking tribute to the city's steel industry.
