A Hamilton pocket watch from the late 1920's and a Hamilton Ventura, the first "electric watch" from the early 1960's.
Spent a lazy Saturday watching TV... This is a close up with Slow Shutter. Sort of abstract.. Sort of lazy..
iPhone SlowShutter app, post processed I. Snapseed.
wrist shot, of c1975 Orient 21 Jewel automatic, features day/date and full stainless case with rotating inner bezel.
Nomos Tangente hand-wound - a crop from the frame appearing earlier in my stream ... like this one better! This is a very classic, simple watch design with great typography!
With the Flying Back Automatic, you get all the benefits of an automatic watch: no winding and no batteries. Plus, there's a third dial for you to keep time in another time zone, so now you can know what time it is back home when you're across the globe on that exotic vacation you have always wanted to take.
Most watches have a second hand that revolves once around the dial every minute. But this Swiss watch features not one but two dials that serve the same purpose. One dial ticks off the first half-minute, then flies back to zero while the other dial ticks off the final 30 seconds before flying back. This innovation was unique to some of the most luxury watches in the world. Finished in 5-micron Gold, this wrist watch comes with one of the finest sapphires from Thailand on the crown and two easy-to-change imitation alligator leather bands: black and burgundy. It's water resistant to 166 feet. Unlike any other watches you ever experienced, the Dual Time Fly Back will bring a new level of luxury to your timepiece collection.

Ray, Lola and I were out for brunch over the weekend and I just happened to notice that Ray was wearing a red t-shirt and watch! This is just one of the may watches in his vast collection. What can I say I love shoes and he loves watches!
Weather sucks so I'm busy with still life/product photography. Pictured one of my favorite watches, the Citizen ECO Blue Angels Chrono.
So ever wondered why you have never seen the wood fairies?
Well, they are pretty good at hiding. And they blend in, sorta :P

Back in the SF Bay. This time to help my friends at Looking Glass Photo with their Zoo Loaner event.
Zoo Loaner Event = free gear loans; cool subjects to shoot; the chance to shoot the BIG glass.
I liked this shot, but felt it was stronger converted to Black and White. I also used a bit of vignetting from Nik Color Efex.
Tomorrow I get to go back to the SF zoo and try it all again, this time helping out the folks at San Jose Camera.
Just watching the television while waiting for my coffee. Wasn't very interesting has to be said, the joys of only getting basic channels.
Coffee was nice though.
